A Faster and Simpler way to Configure IPs

IP Commander is new bench-top tool that's simpler and faster to use than any IP addressing software you can install on your laptop. It semi-automates the IP addressing process of controls devices and can complete it in as little as 90 seconds or less (including boot time). It can also be used to detect unknown IP addresses of devices, as well providing a web browser for accessing additional configuration options and diagnostics. The best part about IP Commander is that it doesn't require special networking knowledge, special security privileges, or multiple software packages. IP Commander can configure IP addresses in many different brands of devices (especially Ethernet/IP), and all from the same user interface. You can even select IPs in IP Commander from a list, based on device name, so that users don't have to reference a system's PLC program to find the proper IP to use. Just provide a copy of your Rockwell PLC's L5X file and your ready to select your IPs from an easy to read list. For Non-Rockwell devices, you can use a simple CSV file to accomplish the same task. This makes addressing devices in a panel shop simple and streamlined, without special knowledge, and reduces downtime in manufacturing or material handling environments where shaving minutes off a company's MTTR (Mean time to repair) saves tens of thousands of dollars.
